Friendly CSA is a justice response to the gap in access to fresh food for those who are incarcerated. Under muted autonomy during incarceration, Friendly CSA stands to expand a window of choice for inside folks. It also provides an opportunity to feel bonded to and grounded in community support.

How it works: Members receive the RU newsletter of plant and food education then submit their order form, having selected seasonally available veggies and herbs from a list provided. RU then mails their choices for free.
